TRIPPING ACCIDENT CAUSING MULTIPLE FACIAL AND OTHER INJURIES LEADS TO THE PAYMENT OF SUBSTANTIAL PERSONAL INJURY COMPENSATION

Our client was returning home when he tripped on a pavement which builders had left in an unfinished state. He sustained injuries to his chin, upper lip and nose leaving some scarring, and also had bruising to his elbow, hip and leg. Most of the injuries settled within 6 weeks, but the scar on his upper lip will feel permanently numb. Dental treatment was also required for a damaged tooth. Comment: This accident could have easily been avoided if the builders had fenced off the unfinished pavement or placed adequate warning signs that the area was a danger to pedestrians. They did not do so and as a result our client suffered nasty injuries that will leave him with permanent scarring.
