Our client was standing on a pavement when a car reversed into him, knocking him to the ground.  He lost consciousness and sustained multiple injuries to his head, back, hands, wrists and knees, which medical experts felt would largely settle within 12 to 16 months after the accident with appropriate treatment.  He also suffered psychological trauma, and needed to take time off work.  We were able to recover personal injury compensation for him of £12,000.
