Our client was waiting at a junction to turn left when his car was struck from behind by a minibus.  He sustained whiplash injuries to his neck and back, and suffered with pain in his leg, but the symptoms settled within 3 months of the accident.  We were able to recover personal injury compensation for him of just under £1,800.

A brief summary of events is set out below.

Our client was returning home when he tripped on a pavement which builders had left in an unfinished state.  He sustained injuries to his chin, upper lip and nose leaving some scarring, and also had bruising to his elbow, hip and leg.  Most of the injuries settled within 6 weeks, but the scar on his upper lip will feel permanently numb.  Dental treatment was also required for a damaged tooth.  We were able to recover personal injury compensation for him of just over £8,000.
