CASE HISTORY
How the Accident Happened
In October 2002, an agency driver working for a large retailer was required to collect a trailer from a service station at night. He had not been specifically trained in how to connect this type of trailer. However, an employee of the retailer asked him for help and while he was in the process of connecting the trailer to the back of his cab, the employee raised the trailer legs causing it to come down on his right arm.Â
