Animal owners and keepers have a duty to ensure that their animals do not cause injuries. If you have been injured by an animal you may need to show that it was known the animal had a history of aggression and therefore greater care was required to keep them under control. Guard dogs should be with an experienced handler and there must be visible warning notices. Animals most likely to cause injuries are:-

THE BASICS
.
For a personal injury claim to succeed your injury (or illness) must have been caused by someone else through their negligent behaviour or lack of action. Even if you were partly to blame, you may still be able to make a claim, but your compensation could be reduced to reflect your own fault or negligence.
Usually, the claim must be made within three years of the date of the accident (or the date you first become aware your illness was work related) and most claims are settled within 9 to 12 months. More complex claims, such as fatal accidents, psychiatric injuries and industrial disease cases, can take longer to resolve.
Most people and companies are insured to cover the cost of workplace accident compensation, and it is usually the insurer of the negligent party which pays your compensation and legal costs. You are likely to recover more quickly from your injuries if you receive ongoing medical treatment or rehabilitation and in appropriate cases we can arrange this at no cost to you.
.
Once you have given us the details of your accident and injury, we will let you know if we can help you. This will usually be the same day you get in touch. Read here about how we are regulated and also about our expertise and accreditations.
